We believe in helping where we live and work. That is why, for the first time this year, we have joined the Philanthropy Exchange for the Ústí nad Orlicí District as a donor. Of the community projects presented, we selected three that we would like to support. And we will also involve our employees in providing that support.
“What impressed us most was that the individual projects were presented directly by the people behind them. Deciding which ones to support was far from easy,” says Ing. Filip Ambrož, Managing Director of fortell.
The Philanthropy Exchange brings together non-profit organisations, companies and the public sector. Organisations present specific projects that help people in the region, and donors decide which ones they want to support. In addition to financial assistance, the initiative also creates new connections and opportunities for collaboration.
We decided to support three projects: the Blue Day Camp for Children and Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Lanškroun, the Ústí nad Orlicí Regional Charity project When Treatment Is No Longer Possible, We Can Still Provide Relief, and the J. J. Pestalozzi Centre in Žamberk project When Everyday Life Becomes Too Much to Handle.
Helping together with our employees has a long tradition at fortell. Every year, our Christmas party includes a charity raffle, and this year the proceeds will go to the projects we selected at the Philanthropy Exchange.
fortell will top up the amount raised by our employees so that the total support reaches CZK 40,000. The funds will then be divided among the three selected projects.
We have added a new Bruderer press to our metal stamping operations. It is one of fortell’s largest technology investments in recent years, expanding our production capabilities and opening up opportunities for further demanding projects.
