Fortell at the 65th MSV in Brno

Fortell once again proudly participated in the International Engineering Fair (MSV) in Brno this year, showcasing our services and products. Our 28 m² booth was strategically located in Hall G1, where it served as a hub for meetings with customers, business partners, and new prospects throughout the week.

During the fair, our booth was hosted by team members Filip Ambroz, Iveta Ambrozova, Daniel Borovicka, Radim Safarik, Lukas Pfitzner, Pavel Jelinek, and Daniela Blazenakova, who provided marketing support. Each contributed to the success of the event and the establishment of new business connections.

Technological innovations at the Brno Exhibition Centre were showcased by 1,386 exhibiting companies from 42 countries worldwide. Over the course of four days, more than 55,000 visitors—primarily engineers and business professionals seeking to quickly implement new solutions—explored their exhibits.

Over the course of four days, we engaged with more than 60 visitors at our booth. These included not only our long-standing customers and suppliers, with whom we discussed the future development of our collaborations, but also potential partners interested in our services. These meetings provided an excellent opportunity to share new ideas and strengthen both existing and new business relationships.

Inspiration for the Future of Industry

This year’s International Engineering Fair once again demonstrated why it remains one of the most important events of the year in the industrial sector. The entire exhibition centre buzzed with digitalization, automation, and other modern technologies that are now indispensable in industrial production. The atmosphere was vibrant—not only due to the exhibits but also because of the constant movement and lively discussions between exhibitors and visitors.

For our company, participating in MSV was an excellent opportunity to showcase our own products and technologies, while also drawing inspiration and keeping pace with the latest trends for our future projects. The digital transformation of industry was evident throughout the fair, and it was fascinating to see how quickly industrial technologies are advancing.

The Czech National Exposition brought together support services for exporters and entrepreneurs in one convenient location. On Thursday, consultations with CzechTrade foreign office directors provided a valuable opportunity for anyone looking to expand into international markets.

Global Reach and New Business Opportunities

MSV 2024 truly embraced a global dimension this year. Half of all exhibitors came from abroad, representing not only neighboring countries like Germany and Slovakia but also distant regions such as China, India, and Ukraine. The Contact Ukraine project focused on connecting Czech and Ukrainian companies, fostering international collaboration during challenging times.

Business delegations from the USA, Malaysia, Morocco, and India were also present, exploring the Czech industrial sector and potential opportunities for cooperation.

This year’s MSV once again hosted the prestigious General Assembly of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic. President Petr Pavel and Prime Minister Petr Fiala personally met with industry leaders to express their support for the direction in which Czech industry is heading.

“We see companies investing in innovation, technology, and expanding their capabilities, which is precisely the path Czech industry should follow,” stated President Pavel.

Awards for Innovation and Industrial Design

This year’s fair introduced a new awards format. Alongside the traditional MSV Gold Medal, awarded for innovative exhibits, the fair presented the inaugural Industrial Design Award. This new accolade aims to promote creativity and aesthetics in industrial design, highlighting them as vital tools for enhancing competitiveness and functionality in the industry.

The first award went to the kinetic 3D printer PRUSA PRO HT90 by Prusa Research. Other recipients included Pegas-Gonda for the design of the 540 HORIZONT X dual-column band saw and JC – Metal for their quick-release clamps and fixtures set.

The new Industrial Design Award brings fresh focus to the role of design in the industrial landscape, inspiring companies to pursue innovative and aesthetically appealing solutions.

Next MSV in October 2025

For us, MSV 2024 was once again a fantastic experience and opportunity. It’s clear that industrial production is undergoing dynamic changes, and there’s so much to look forward to. The next International Engineering Fair will take place from October 7 to 10, 2025, where we will once again discover all the latest trends, technologies, and opportunities to advance our field.

Got your calendar ready? We’re excited for the next edition!
